11/10/09 - Today, we handed out a study guide that needs to be completed by Friday, November 13th. The study guide is a review of the verbs that we are learning in Spanish class (there are about 40 verbs in this chapter).
11/09/09 - Today, we started learning the vocabulary in Chapter 3. There are a lot of verbs to learn in this chapter, so be sure to start studying. If you need extra copies of the vocabulary pages, be sure to go to the Chapter 3 worksheets page.
10/26/09 - The Chapter 2 Assessment will be coming up next week (the first week in November). We suggest reviewing your Spanish notes every night to prepare for the test. More information will be given in class closer to the test dates.
10/21/09- Progress reports will be distributed either Wednesday or Thursday. Please make sure your student gets the report signed.
10/8- Today, we handed out textbooks for students. They can use these textbooks to help them with studying and any vocabulary. We are highly recommeding that students make either flashcards or vocabulary lists to help them out. Chapter 2 has a lot of vocabulary that they need to learn. This is another reason why we sent a book home, so they can look up words in the back.
10/2- We just finished our Chapter 1 test today. If you have taken the test, please make sure to clean out your Spanish section EXCEPT FOR YOUR DRILLS!!! You will have a drill quiz this Friday. Please make sure to get your missing drills here.
9/24- The writing assessment will be on September 30th and October 2nd will be our first Chapter test. We will have a review day before each assessment. If you want to access handouts and drills, we've made pages with the handouts. In order to get to these pages, you will need to access the SideBar.
9-16- Check out the SideBar (it´s on the right hand side). This SideBar is essential!!!!!!!! You will be able to locate your drills and your worksheets!!!! Get to know the SideBar!!!!
8/31- What a great first day! Srta. Reier and I are really looking forward to having you in class! Make sure you check this site often for your homework.

Coach Class:
- If you find your student is struggling in Spanish, please let the teacher know. A coach class can then be scheduled.
- Coach classes are for clarification of difficult concepts, not make-up work.
Classroom Procedures:
- Students should begin to work on the drill as soon as they walk in the classroom.
- Homework: After the drill, the students should copy their homework in the homework planner.
- Late Work- In order for students to receive full credit, they must complete their assignment on time. Anything turned in after the due date will be considered late and will receive partial credit. We both accept late work.
- Make-up Work: Missed work due to an absence must be made up within the same number as the days missed.
Rules for Class:
- Respect yourself, others and the enviroment.
- Be prepared for class.
- Be responsible for your own learning.
